I don't know, the more I look at this style the more it reminds me of "addy braids" (what me and my sisters call the braids that they put in the african american baby dolls heads lol), but the first time I laid eyes on this I wanted to do it immediately! So I guess that's my answer, YES it's hot! Not only because all the cool celebs are doing it.. (Rihanna, the Olsen twins, Emma Rossum, etc.) but because it's another cute way to wear your hair up without having to wear another messy bun/ponytail! I can definitely get jiggy with this :) hhahaha
